While in Visakhapatnam, former Chennai Super Kings player Ambati Rayudu threw a dinner party for his old teammates. In a league game, CSK took on Delhi Capitals in Vizag, which is also Rayudu’s native state. Colleagues have a tradition of rewarding players with a traditional feast when the team travels to play in their hometown.
In 2023, Rayudu announced his retirement from cricket after winning his sixth Indian Premier League championship. Before playing for the CSK franchise, he was a member of the Mumbai Indians team. CSK shared photos from the dinner catch-up on Instagram, with guests like Shivam Dube, Deepak Chahar, and Ravindra Jadeja.

In the current IPL 2024, Rayudu may be seen hanging up his boots and donning a commentator’s hat. Although he used to be quiet when discussing the game, he now seems to be acting strangely when he presents it.
