Bangladesh steamrolls Zimbabwe in series opener
Zimbabwe were completely outplayed in the first of the five-match T20I series at Chattogram. Put in to bat first, Zimbabwe were reduced to 41/7 at one stage with Taskin Ahmed and Saifuddin picking three apiece. They were saved some blushes through a 75-run stand for the eighth wicket between Clive Madande and Wellington Masakadza for the eighth wicket. But despite that, the total of 124 proved too be too few for Zimbabwe to defend. Debutant Tanzid Hasan Hridoy led the chase with an unbeaten 67 as Bangladesh overhauled the total with more than four overs to spare.
