The approaching NFL draft has football fans giddy with anticipation, and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders has become a sought-after target for clubs with first-round choices in the top five.
Many fans are wondering if Shedeur’s father, Buffs head coach Deion Sanders, is hinting to his son’s future NFL destination in a fascinating tweet that he sent. Fans believe that Vegas will move up from its No. 6 pick in the draft to get Shedeur as a much needed franchise quarterback after Prime Time posted two images of Shedeur with a silver-and-black colour scheme similar to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Ahead of the draft, Shedeur has already met with the Raiders and other clubs. Additionally, he maintains a close friendship with Tom Brady, a minority owner of Las Vegas. Shedeur recently discussed his relationship with the Raiders and Brady.
According to Sports Illustrated, Shedeur declared, “Tom Brady is an all-time great.” He can connect to it because he played the game at the greatest level, so having that resource and that person I can contact and talk to anytime I have questions about it is great. It’s just incredible. For that, I am grateful.
“I met with a lot of teams here, including the Raiders.” Meeting Coach (Pete Carroll) and the entire staff and organisation is really exciting. Therefore, you can be sure that I will be there if they phone and invite me to come visit.
Shedeur recently made the decision to show off his skills at Colorado’s pro day on March 19 rather than go to the NFL scouting combine. Although many first found the choice puzzling, Shedeur is obviously supporting Deion’s plans to control his son’s draft process.
