Kohli's 100th match

IPL2024: Stats Review: Quinton de Kock scores three thousand runs in his 100th match, and other figures from RCB vs. LSG

Following match number fifteen of the Indian Premier League 2024, RCB has lost two straight while LSG has won two straight.

IPL 2024’s match 15 saw RCB lose to LSG by a score of 29 runs. RCB was playing their third straight home game; they had only won the prior two. Thus far, LSG has prevailed in two of the three games.

LSG made a quick start after being brought in, largely because Quinton de Kock (81 off 56) was attacking for the majority of the Powerplay and innings. LSG was starting to waver a little bit in the middle, but after 20 overs, Nicholas Pooran (40 off 21) had lifted LSG to 182/5.

RCB started quickly, but their batting collapsed with no chance of recovery after losing Glenn Maxwell, Faf du Plessis, and Virat Kohli in the span of nine deliveries for only three runs. Additionally, RCB might not have been able to muster the 153 they ultimately folded for without their impact player Mahipal Lomror (33 off 13). For the second straight game, Mayank Yadav (4-0-14-3) shown his class and was duly awarded Player of the Match.
