IPL2024: After the sixth week, defeat the Indian XI

IPL 2024 Flop Indian XI Sixth Week | IPL 2024 Flop Indian XI Playing XI

Things in the IPL 2024 had gotten rather serious by the conclusion of the sixth week. With the exception of the top two teams in the table, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), every other team appears to be vying for a berth in the top 4. The teams would want their players to be performing at their highest level since the postseason race is really on. Since they make up the core of any team with talent and skills, the Indian players’ form will be crucial.

Some players have been playing at their best, while others have not been at their best. Some players, nevertheless, have fared far worse than the management and supporters had anticipated. These guys have thrown off the cohesive unit, which has hurt the squad. While some of them were dropped, the teams still have faith in the others to deliver the products on schedule.

After the sixth week of the IPL 2024, this is the failed Indian XI:

Ajinkya Rahane and Wriddhiman Saha (wk) are in first place.

One of the worst Indian openers in the current IPL 2024 season is Ajinkya Rahane. With a batting average of 20.80 and a batting strike rate of 123.07, the right-handed batter has scored 208 runs in 10 innings. 45 is his highest match score. It is obvious that the seasoned batter is not playing at his peak right now.

This team’s second opener is Wriddhiman Saha, who has had difficulty scoring runs. Saha will also serve as this team’s wicketkeeper. With a best score of 39 and a batting average of 15.11 throughout nine innings, the veteran batter has amassed 136 runs at a batting SR of 118.26.

Mayank Agarwal, Jitesh Sharma, Dhruv Jurel, and Shreyas Iyer (C) comprise the middle order.

Mayank Agarwal is the team’s third player. The SRH batter has been out of form and hasn’t performed well thus far. It’s possible that he will be replaced in the next game. The team’s captain will be Shreyas Iyer. Although he has performed well, the KKR hitter has not been a reliable hitter.

As a WK batter, Jitesh Sharma has not performed well. Sharma struggled to maintain his success in the current season despite having performed well in the previous two. Similar to Jitesh, Dhruv Jurel has fallen short of the mark. The youthful batter has only ever recorded one successful hit.

Vijay Shankar and Ravichandran Ashwin are all-around players.

There are a few strong all-round players on the team. This season, Vijay Shankar has not performed well at bat. The GT player performed admirably in 2023, but he was let go since he could not meet the standards. The medium pacer with a right arm bowled expensively when given the chance to bowl.

The hitters have been merciless to Ravichandran Ashwin in the past few games. With the exception of the match against DC, he has not claimed many wickets. He hits a solid blow with the bat. But he hasn’t been very good as a player. The 37-year-old is also not a very exciting choice as a fielder.

Bowlers: Mayank Dagar (Impact replacement), Mohit Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The batsmen have blasted Bhuvneshwar Kumar with the new ball. With the exception of a few games, he has been costly with the new ball. Mohammed Siraj will help him with the PP overs. This season, the right-arm bowler has struggled and has frequently bowled in the incorrect line and length.

Mohit Sharma was not wealthy when he passed away. The right-arm pacer gave up the most expensive spell in league history during one of the games. On the side, Mayank Dagar will be the key player. Despite being a spinner, the left-arm orthodox spinner has been somewhat pricey.
