XI of sixth week

IPL 2024: The sixth week’s best-ranked XI

In the sixth week of the Indian Premier League 2024, let’s examine the top players who did not open the game for their team.

Finally, the last few weeks of the Indian Premier League 2024 have begun, with all teams attempting to advance to the play-offs later this month. The heated on-field battle for qualification has begun, with only four positions up for grabs and most clubs having three games remaining.

Many excellent players have performed for their teams over the 52 games that have been played in this season of the Indian Premier League, but some players have also been benched due to poor form and limited playing time. Let’s examine the top XI that was benched in the sixth week of the competition before the seventh week begins.

The week’s best-benched XI is as follows:

1. Padikkal, Devdutt

Devdutt Padikkal has not been able to make much of an impact on the Lucknow Super Giants team due to his difficult tournament experience thus far. One reason for this dip in form could be that he has been starting at number three, which is technically not his optimal slot to bat upon. The Southpaw, who has a lot of quality, is still among the greatest up-and-coming Indian hitters of the current generation. The team needs to support him in the remaining games of the season.
