Visakhapatnam, 02 April 2024: On Wednesday, the Delhi Capitals will host the Kolkata Knight Riders at the ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, where they will try to build on their convincing victory from their previous game.
“After losing two matches, the only medicine is victory and that’s what we got in the last game,” Delhi Capitals assistant coach Pravin Amre said, reflecting on the team’s 20-run triumph over the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings in their previous encounter. The squad deserves recognition for the manner we performed; we were strong across the board. As a coaching group, we were pleased with the Indian players’ bowling and batting contributions.”
The Kolkata Knight Riders have won both of their previous two games. “We respect every opponent; whoever is in the playing 11 has the qualifications and the skills to execute, but it’s also important that how we tackle them,” Amre said in response to a question regarding their upcoming game.
“We played our best cricket, but CSK also emerged victorious with two wins. It matters not what ideas they have; rather, what matters is how we play and how we will give it our all. Since it’s our final game in Vizag, we also want to go out on a high note,” he said.
The Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders will play their next IPL 2024 game on Wednesday at the ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
