Rinku Singh used one four and four sixes to help him score a rapid 20 off nine balls.
In Match 31, the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) provided another thrilling high-scoring thriller as Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, to record the joint-highest successful run chase in the tournament’s history. With their individual hundreds, Sunil Narine and Jos Buttler excelled in the match, marking just the fourth time in IPL history that players from both sides scored hundreds.
On a day when nearly every delivery saw balls go to the boundary, Rinku Singh’s stroke stood out from the others as he expertly combined power, brains, and accuracy to hit a six on the third ball of his bat.

After 16.1 overs, the southpaw was called in to bat with KKR at 184/4 in an attempt to provide a flawless end to their innings. Rinku wasted little time in taking up the bowling, starting on the third ball itself. In the 19th over of the innings, he produced a crafty stroke against Avesh Khan.
With a crowded leg-side field, Khan ran in to bowl the second ball of the over and struck a solid length delivery that was aimed towards the stumps. But Rinku was smart enough to shift to his right and clear space for himself. He then unleashed a full force delivery over deep extra cover, sending the ball hurtling into the advertising hoardings for a six. Rinku showed the world how good he was at reading the game and making shots with his incredible stroke.
