Bio
Despite playing in just one first-class match in his home country of India, Netravalkar represented the country’s Under-19 team and achieved the remarkable feat of taking the most wickets during their 2010 Under-19 World Cup campaign.
Saurabh Netravalkar is a fast bowler with a left arm who can swing the ball in all directions with his effective motion. His ability to strike the string with his beautiful ball release and his consistency in line and length are his greatest assets.
Saurabh is at ease with both the new ball in hand and the later phases of limited-overs cricket. He nips the new ball off the pitch just enough to give most batsmen discomfort.
He was born in Mumbai in 1991 and progressed through the city’s youth systems before being chosen for the Mumbai Ranji team at the age of 17. He then excelled at representing India’s Under 19 team.
