Despite the wicket’s unpredictable pace, Quinton de Kock had difficulty at first but persisted in joining KL Rahul to establish an important 134-run stand. CSK was unable to restrict the opposition due to their subpar bowling and fielding. They did not know how to use Moeen Ali well, and Jadeja was under a lot of strain. Mustafizur Rahman and Matheesha Pathirana gave it their best shot, but Rahul’s outstanding 82 off 53 was enough to secure the victory for his squad.
