‘The Winner’s Mindset’ is the title of the recently released book by the former all-rounder for Australia.
On Monday, April 1, renowned Australian all-rounder Shane Watson gave star Indian and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli a signed copy of his recently released book, “The Winner’s Mindset.” In addition to him, Watson gave his book to Glenn Maxwell and captain Faf du Plessis, two other prominent RCB players.
Du Plessis showered the former Australian cricket player with gratitude for gathering all of his expertise in one location to teach the young players about the mental aspects of the game. Additionally, he exhorted the children to read the book, in which Watson provides a straightforward explanation of everything.

Yes, I’ve already read this book. Extremely fortunate to have read it among the first people and to have firsthand experience with all the information that has been incorporated. Thus, I believe it’s a fantastic book, and I’m sure Indian cricketers will learn a tonne from it. It’s really important. It’s not often that the mental game of cricket is discussed, and Watto has done a great job of explaining it to Sportsman in a straightforward manner. Get it—it’s a must-read. In a video that Watson posted, Du Plessis added, “It’s an incredible book.”
In the meantime, RCB has only won one of the three games they have played so far in the 2017 IPL season, not exactly a spectacular start. They lost the first match of the season by six wickets against Chennai Super Kings, but in the second match, they pulled off an incredible comeback victory over Punjab Kings by four wickets.

In their most recent game versus KKR, RCB lost.
The team captained by Faf du Plessis, however, was unable to maintain their winning streak and lost their third game against KKR by a margin of seven wickets. Virat Kohli, who is now the season’s top run scorer with 181 runs from three innings at an average of 90.50, has been the lone bright spot for RCB in the opening two games.
They will next take on Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday, April 02 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru and will look to bounce back to winning ways.
