Three Test matches and seven Twenty20 International matches are planned for the England cricket team’s September–December 2022 trip of Pakistan. The 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship will include the Test matches.
History
The Englishmen have won 25 and lost 21 of the 83 Test matches between England and Pakistan thus far, indicating a fair rivalry during the 66-year period from 1954. The host team in England has won 23 Test matches and lost only 12, which is concerning for the visiting team.
They’ve won nearly twice as much as they’ve lost. All three Tests may yield a result, and Pakistan will need to perform at their highest level to survive in those circumstances because there are fewer drawn Tests nowadays.
Only 15 games have been played between these two sides in T20Is, with England winning 10 and Pakistan winning 4, with one match ending in a draw. England has won four and lost two of the two teams’ six meetings in England.
Format
Before facing the England cricket team, the visiting team will play two practice matches. On September 20th, the first English vs. Pakistan test will start. The English will reveal their ODI squad, which is exclusive to their Test team that faced the West Indies, and the team will field two distinct sides for each format. Tests will start on December 1 and run through December 21. The Twenty20 match will take place at National Stadium in Karachi from September 20 to October 2.
