Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals for Al-Nassr: Know how many the Portuguese star netted for Saudi Arabian giants

One of the greatest football players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo has gained even more notoriety since joining Al-Nassr FC, one of the biggest teams in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese football player, who will remain with the Saudi club until 2025, inked a new two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr as a free agent, making him the highest-paid player in the world.

Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut for Al-Nassr as a club captain in their 1-0 victory against Al-Ettifaq FC in a Saudi Pro League 2022–23 match after joining the team in January 2023.

The Madeira-born football player scored his first goal for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League 2022–23 later in February against Al-Fateh. Al-Nassr managed to rescue a tie at the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium in Hofuf, Saudi Arabia, thanks to Ronaldo’s last-minute penalty conversion.

Later on, in a 4-0 victory over Al-Wehda FC, he scored all four goals, earning his first hat-trick.

In the Arab Club Champions Cup 2023 final, Ronaldo scored twice to assist Al-Nassr defeat archrivals Al-Hilal 2-1 and win his first Saudi Arabian championship. This was just another example of his incredible play. With six goals, the Portuguese star emerged as the competition’s top scorer.

Ronaldo led the Al-Nassr and Portugal national football team in goals scored at the end of the 2023 season with a total of 54.

Ronaldo scored more than 50 goals in a calendar year for the sixth time in his career. He had previously accomplished this milestone in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Later in the 2023–24 season, Ronaldo broke Abderrazak Hamdallah’s record for the most goals scored in a single Saudi Pro League season, continuing his prolific goal-scoring streak. Eventually, with 35 goals in just 31 games, he took home the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot for 2023–2024.

The Al-Nassr talisman also made history by being the first player to be named the league’s best scorer in four separate competitions: the Saudi Pro League, the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.

In 52 Saudi Pro League games thus far, Ronaldo has netted 53 goals. In the Saudi King Cup, Saudi Super Cup, AFC Champions League, and Arab Club Champions Cup, he has also scored significant goals.
