Conway, Santner and Miller in Texas Super Kings squad

South Africa Women to tour Pakistan in September

Mandeep Singh to lead North Zone
The North Zone team’s captain for the forthcoming inter-zonal Duleep Trophy match in Bangalore has been selected as Mandeep Singh. Nahida Khan retires from international cricket
Pakistan’s Nahida Khan announced her retirement from international cricket 14 years to the day after her ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2009.
Nahida amassed 2014 runs and one wicket in 120 international cricket matches for Pakistan . And the only female Balochistani cricket player. With her four catches in Pakistan’s 94-run victory over Sri Lanka in Dambulla, she broke a record. Because of the most catches in an ODI innings in one season.
In addition to four T20 World Cups (2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018), Nahida represented Pakistan at three World Cups over 50-over cricket (2013, 2017 and 2022).

England name XI for first Ashes Test
Even though the Ashes don’t start until the day after tomorrow, the English already have their starting lineup for Edgbaston. Only Moeen Ali, who came out of retirement following Jack Leach’s injury, is qualified to fill in right away. Knight Riders continue their association with Narine and Russel at MLC

Ganguly back in commentary box for WTC Final
The World Test Championship (WTC) final will be broadcast live on Star Sports, and former India captain Sourav Ganguly will announce the match for the International Cricket Council (ICC). Ganguly will be a member of the broadcaster’s Hindi commentary team at The Oval in London.

Sehrawat to captain India A in Emerging Women’s Asia Cup 2023
For the ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup 2023, Shweta Sehrawat will lead the India A (Emerging) team. Shreyanka Patil, Kanika Ahuja, and Soumya Tiwari are also a part of the 14-person team for the next performance as Sehrawat’s assistants.
As members of the India A team, Sehrawat, Tiwari, Titas Sadhu, Parshavi Chopra, G Trisha, and Mannat Kashyap all helped to the nation’s win in the inaugural Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup. The team’s head coach, Nooshin Al Khadeer, will stay in that capacity for India A.

CWI on the lookout for new director of cricket
At the end of June, Jimmy Adams’ contract with West Indies will expire, thus the team is on the hunt for a replacement. In January 2017, Adams took charge of Richard Pybus as the West Indies’ director of cricket. Adams maintained that position for a total of six and a half years. CWI has started the hiring process, and the application deadline is June 14.
Johnny Grave, the CEO at CWI, said, “We are incredibly grateful for the leadership and contribution that Jimmy has made over the past six and a half years.” He has completely rebuilt our High-Performance structure in regards to Coach Education & Development, Sport Science & Medicine, and most recently with the creation of our Academy at the Coolidge Cricket Ground (CCG) in Antigua. I have no doubt Jimmy will keep on making contributions to sport, especially West Indies Cricket.
Adams remarked on his tenure at the CWI & told, “It has been an honour to have contributed to the CWI’s continuous success.” I’ve had the privilege of working with a lot of amazing individuals at the company over the past six and a half years, and thanks for their assistance. I wish everyone a lot of luck as they move forward, particularly in light of the many regional and global issues that are at play currently.
Racist remarks hurled at West Indies A team in Bangladesh
The third and final unofficial Test match between Bangladesh A and the Caribbean West Team ended at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, and the captain Joshua de Silva expressed gloom that his team endured racist abuse too.
A spectator in the SICS stands first used a racial insult after Nurul Hasan took guard after entering the batting order and his team was down by 117-6 in the face of a staggering 445 runs. As visiting team captain Da Silva erupted at on-field umpire Masudur Rahman, the visiting team member could hear the sobs of the crowd.

“I had a hard time interpreting what the umpire was saying. I surely have no concept how serious the racial slurs flung against us became. As Da Silva contacted the umpire about the incident on Cricfrenzy. The umpire said, “The umpire then came to me and informed me that they were using some foul language before resolving the matter.”
He implored everyone to remain mindful of their equality and abstain from saying anything that would start a dispute. In his conclusion, he said that the correct authorities took charge of it. “Ethnic tensions are things I hate to see, even if I’m glad that the issue was swiftly resolved.
“We are all paid equally. We were all here to play cricket and we all love it. And in the end, Da Silva claimed, “all we desire is to do what we love.
